"Come and see,..." John 1:39

"Seeking God, Serving Others, Sharing Christ"

We faithfully strive in "Seeking God" by our Worship, Study, and Prayer Life.

Worship includes both traditional and contemporary hymns along with prayer and praise to our Father.

"Serving Others" involves loving people outside our walls and within our congregation.

It is a joy to serve the community at RIFA and to host our special needs fellowship group

"Sharing Christ" is our biblical commission to make disciples.

Worshiping our Father is always the center of our Sunday Service. We seek to share Christ by serving as a welcoming and caring congregation that shares his love with all.

Arriving at Aldersgate.

Aldersgate is located at 1050 N. Parkway with entrances off both Parkway and Campbell. You are welcome to join us for Sunday School starting at 9:45. A greeter will meet you at the entrance and direct you to an appropriate class for your needs.

Worship time begins at 10:45. We suggest you arrive 10 minutes early to get familiar with the facility. A greeter will welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

There is no expected "dress code" and you will find a range of attire that the individual feels comfortable in. Additionally, there are no "assigned seats". Please sit wherever you like.

During Worship.

If you visit on the first Sunday of the month, we typically celebrate Holy Communion. We believe the Lord's Table is open to all and you are invited to participate.

You will find worship to be traditional with contemporary elements blended in. Our affirmation of faith is grounded in the historic Apostles' and Nicene Creeds.
Congregational prayer with individual prayer requests will be lifted up. We will have a time for children's moments with the pastor as well as Children's Church during the sermon.

Our music program at Aldersgate is a cornerstone of our worship experience and will include congregational singing and presentations by our Sanctuary Choir and Praise Team. Additionally, there may be a special solo or presentation by our Handbell Choir.

After our Worship Time.

We invite you to share your contact details with us via the guest registration form attached to the bulletin you received. We promise not to intrude but would like to keep you informed via our church newsletter. You are invited to any of the church events you may have heard of via announcements or the bulletin. Just ask any church member for details or contact Betsy during the week at 731-427-4887.
