Shepherding

Visitation and Communion for Homebound Members:

The Shepherding Team coordinates  visits to homebound members . Communion is also provided monthly to members in retirement homes.

Bereavement Meals:

The death of a family member creates a difficult and stressful time. The Shepherding Team coordinates the serving of meals for members and their families following a funeral service.

Sending Cards:

The Shepherding Team keeps up with Birthdays and Anniversaries by sending cards to members. They also send Get Well cards and Thinking of You cards.

Daytime Fellowship

Everyone is invited to enjoy a potluck meal and a program the third Wednesday each month at noon in the fellowship hall at Aldersgate. Birthdays are celebrated and prayer requests are also made known.

New Member Orientation:

Are you a New Member at Aldersgate? The Shepherding Team will make sure that you have all the information you need to get plugged in and will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Stewardship:

Stewardship at Aldersgate is about giving cheerfully and generously. Our stewardship program encourages members of Aldersgate to give of their tithes, time, talents and ministry to others. This is done in connection with prayer, Bible reading and worship as each person discerns God’s call to him or her. Opportunities are provided throughout the year for members to give offerings. A yearly financial stewardship campaign is conducted each fall.
